CELEBRATING A LOCAL FRIENDS GROUP

We were commission by London Borough of Merton to create this community mural to celebrate a local park and the amazing Friends Group who care so much for it.

The brief was to cover the 3 walls of this large utility building standing in the park's playground with a design that brightened the playground while blending in. We gathered ideas from residents and children from the local area as well as the Friends Group and the key message was pride in their green space. The importance of their little piece of nature, what it can teach children in the area and the calming space it provides.
