REVITALISING KINGS PASSAGE KINGSTON

BRINGING PRIDE TO A PASSAGE
We were commissioned by Kingston Council to transform a long, underused alleyway into a more welcoming and engaging pedestrian route, connecting the market to the riverside. The goal was not just to brighten the space, but to encourage more people to rediscover and enjoy this overlooked part of the area.
Since we couldn’t fully cover the wall — due to brick conditions, sizing and obstructions, we went for a fun sticker-style approach—packing the whole stretch with layered graphics from end to end. It gave us loads of flexibility and turned the space into something a bit more playful and different.
The designs are a mix of local history and culture, signage, wayfinding, and a few nods to the people who live there—plus some familiar favourites thrown in for fun.
