PARK PAVILION MURAL CELEBRATING 100 YEARS OF ATHLETICS

Commissioned by Merton council and the Sports Heritage group we were asked to brighten up a long forgotten building ready for its reopening to the community! In the heart of the Borough of Sport and on the site of the historic Mitcham athletics field we created a design to celebrate 4 amazing local Olympians; Lorna Booth (Hurdles), Brian Hewson (Mid distance runner), Muriel Cornell (long jump) and Dorothy Tyler (high jump)
